Selling Sunset has easily become a favorite for luxury home obsessives and reality TV fanatics alike. For the uninitiated: The reality show follows the real estate brokers of the Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles, California, as they juggle multi-million dollar listings as well as their whirlwind personal lives. The series stars real estate agents Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Heather Rae El Moussa, Mary Fitzgerald, and Amanza Smith—to name a few. Now, if you breezed through the first four seasons, you're probably wondering what's next. Here’s everything we know about the show’s fifth season.

When will the fifth season of Selling Sunset air?

Netflix announced the show's renewal for a fourth and fifth season at the same time back in March 2021. In March 2022, Netflix finally announced the season's official premiere date: April 22, 2022.

Who will be on the next season?

When Netflix renewed Selling Sunset for two seasons, it announced a single cast list for both: Jason and Brett Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald (and Romain Bonnet), Heather Rae El Moussa, Amanza Smith, Maya Vander, and Davina Potratz. In season four, the show introduced newcomers Vanessa Villela and Emma Hernan, who will also return for the latest season. But that's not all—luxury real estate agent, Chelsea Lazanki, will join the existing cast for season five.

A few changes that might lead to seeing less of the show’s current stars? For starters, Brett Oppenheim quietly left the Oppenheim Group in-between seasons to run his own brokerage similarly named Oppenheim Real Estate. Davina also left to pursue a new role at competitor company Douglas Elliman. Oh, and the Oppenheim Group now has an office in Newport Beach, California, which Heather Rae El Moussa now works out of. While all of these changes didn’t prevent them from appearing in season four, it’s unclear how they’ll affect season five.

What can we expect to see in Selling Sunset season five?

We’ll get the first real look into Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim’s seven-month relationship. Mary Fitzgerald confirmed the news to Metro:

Without giving away too much, it’s hard to, it’s hard to say/to explain it, but it’s gonna be pretty shocking to see some of the things that have happened. I think Jason and Chrishell came out with their relationship in between seasons four and five. So, you won’t see that on season four, but you will in season five.

In fact, the first episode of season 5 begins with a glimpse into Chrishell and Jason's relationship, along with Chrishell mentioning how easy things are between them because they've known each other for so long, so she doesn't have to hide anything about herself with him.

As for other details, only time will tell! We'll keep updating this post as we learn more about Selling Sunset season five, so make sure to check back.
