Seminole firefighters free truck driver caught in I-4 overpass

A truck driver was freed from his cabin Saturday morning after his trailer somehow got caught on an overpass while traveling along Interstate 4, the Seminole County Fire Department said.

The agency posted a photo on Twitter of a dump truck that somehow had its trailer caught while passing below the State Road 436 overpass near Altamonte Springs.

In the photo, the truck can be seen elevated off the ground, trapping the driver in the cabin. The driver was later freed, and the agency said Department of Transportation engineers were en route to safely remove the truck.

It’s unclear how the truck managed to get caught in the overpass. No injuries were reported, and traffic was allowed to resume normally shortly after.
