Semitruck hauling manure overturns near Soap Lake

A semitruck driver who was hauling manure was injured after his truck overturned Tuesday near Soap Lake.

According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Jeremy Weber, the truck overturned on state Route 28 at milepost 56.7 east of Soap Lake after the driver tried to avoid animals on the road.

The driver suffered minor injuries.

The small stretch of road was temporarily closed so that the truck could be removed.

The trooper did not say how much manure fell out of the semitruck.
