Apr. 12—U.S. Sen. Mike Braun visited Logansport Tuesday morning to greet voters and show support for Mayor Chris Martin ahead of the primary on May 2.

"Good morning in Logansport meeting Hoosiers with Mayor Chris Martin," Braun wrote on Twitter. "Our state is strong because of Main Street communities with common sense conservative leaders."

Martin and Braun met and mingled with community members at Black Dog Coffee for about 30 minutes. Martin is running for the Republican nomination for mayor against James McKeever and Johnny Quinones.

Braun recently launched his own campaign, looking to succeed Eric Holcomb as governor of Indiana in the 2024 election.
