Senate Confirms Ketanji Brown Jackson to Supreme Court
The US Senate voted 53-47 to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court on April 7, making her the first black female justice to serve on the nation’s highest court.
All 50 Democratic Senators were joined by three Republicans — Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Mitt Romney of Utah — in supporting Jackson’s nomination.
