Senators tout environmental provisions amid E. coli in water

Undrinkable water in west Baltimore due to E. coli contamination caught the attention of Maryland's U.S. senators. U.S. Sens. Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen visited the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus for an event touting the new Inflation Reduction Act, which the White House said will advance environmental justice for marginalized communities. The event happened to take place Tuesday in a community where the Baltimore City Department of Public Works is advising to boil its water due to positive test results confirming E. coli.
