The White House announced Wednesday it will be sending a full battalion of American-made tanks to join the fight in Ukraine, a move which appears to have given Germany the military and political cover it was seeking to send its own tanks across Europe to the region as well.
As the war in Ukraine continues, the United States has decided to send 31 military tanks to the country to help Ukrainian forces. The Biden Administration made the decision this week after previously saying it would not send tanks.
