Senior living has changed to affordable housing on the West Side

Four years ago, city leaders promised residents who live near Cibola High School a community center, pool, library and homes for seniors. But according to documents obtained by Target 7, part of the plan has changed. Instead of senior living, city officials have requested developers to submit proposals to make about six acers of the land located at Cibola Loop and Ellison affordable housing for people who make less than $37,000 a year.
