Sentenced: Hickory man sold cocaine near school to undercover agent: DOJ

HICKORY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A Hickory man who sold cocaine to an undercover agent near a school has been sentenced, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of North Carolina announced Wednesday.

Hickory resident Dante Ramseur, 44, will serve more than 10 years in prison after pleading guilty in September to drug-related charges.

Court records showed from 2022 through 2023, Ramseur distributed large amounts of cocaine in the Hickory area including sales near a school that involved an undercover agent.

Two of his accomplices have also pled guilty but have not yet been sentenced.
