Sentinel-Echo updates print schedule

Jan. 24—Community news has always been about community first. We at the Sentinel-Echo have long been committed to that principle, as we strive to report the local news as well as provide information of community interest.

Facing economic forces we cannot control, the cost of doing business is going up dramatically, including a 40% increase in newsprint prices.

And so with that dedication and motivation to put readers first, we will change how we provide some of that information.

Beginning next Wednesday, we will no longer publish the "Entertainment Extra" TV supplement in print. However, we will still provide our subscribers and interested readers with that day's television listings within our regular news section and include the complete entertainment section in Wednesday's E-Paper.

We encourage our readers to activate their digital access, and sign up for the Daily Newsletters and Breaking News for easy access on your smartphone, tablet and desktop.

We will continue to provide breaking news to both our digital access and total access customers, as we always have.
