Elton John and Ringo Starr shine brightest on the Pittsburgh concert calendar this September.
Though a lot of eyes also will be on Chris Rock, making his first Pittsburgh visit since being on the receiving end of The Slap Heard Round The World at this year's Academy Awards.
September brings to a close The Pavilion at Star Lake season, with classic-rockers Styx-REO Speedwagon and heavy hitters Shinedown and Five Finger Death Punch giving the Burgettstown shed its 2022 sendoff.
Fans of on-the-rise and peaking talent will flock to Stage AE, with its excellent roster including Marcus King, Jungle, Idles and budding country star Zach Bryan supported by Charles Wesley Godwin and his Beaver County backing band.
More:Charles Wesley Godwin's West Virginia roots (and Beaver County ties) taking him far
And don't forget Tom Petty's guitarist Mike Campbell has a McKees Rocks date with his band, The Dirty Knobs.
