On Sunday night (June 26), the 2022 BET Awards brought stars to downtown Los Angeles for culture’s biggest night. Hosted by Taraji P. Henson for the second consecutive year, the award show featured performances from Latto, Mariah Carey, Lizzo, Ella Mai, Jack Harlow, Brandy, Kirk Franklin, Muni Long, Doechii, and more. Diddy was celebrated with the BET Lifetime Achievement Award and was joined on stage by Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Shyne, Lil Kim, Busta Rhymes, The LOX, and more for an all-star Bad Boy showcase. He continued with a speech after being introduced by Babyface and Ye.
Winners of the night Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak), Jazmine Sullivan, The Weeknd, Latto, Kirk Franklin, and Tems taking the night’s top honors.

Connie Orlando, BET’s Executive Vice President, Specials, Music Programming, Music Strategy, and News oversaw the annual show, along with Jamal Noisette, VP, Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy, who will serve as Co-Executive Producer for BET. Jesse Collins Entertainment is the production company for the show with Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay serving as Executive Producers.
