"Seraph Brass was founded by trumpet soloist Mary Elizabeth Bowden with the mission of elevating and showcasing the excellence of female brass players and highlighting musicians from marginalized groups both in personnel and in programming," stated the ORCMA news release.

The program will include music by Edvard Grieg, Giuseppe Verdi, Gioacchino Rossini, Clara Schumann, and Franz Liszt, in addition to living composers Kevin Day, Kevin McKee, David Chesky, Grigoraș Dinicu, Reena Esmail, Catherine McMichael, and Anthony DiLorenzo.

Quintet members Mary Elizabeth Bowden, Raquel Samayoa, Rachel Velvikis, Victoria Garcia, and Cristina Cutts Dougherty will present a pre-concert talk at 7 p.m., which is free with ticket purchase. Tickets are available online at orcma.org, at the door, or by calling (865) 483-5569.  Admission is free for youths 18 and younger.
