Serena Williams' Daughter, Olympia, Hilariously Mistakes Tampons For Cat Toys

Even legends have “mom” moments. Retired tennis star Serena Williams recently posted a TikTok with her adorable daughter Olympia Ohanian. In the clip, the five-year-old was extremely excited to show off her collection of cat toys.

Ohanian ripped open the mystery toys and revealed them to be tampons.

“What is that?” Williams asked her daughter with a calm voice.

“A cat toy for Karma,” Ohanian replies.

When her mother asks her again, the cutie repeats the statement even louder. Williams then clarifies that their pet cat’s name is Karma. And stares into the camera bewildered, while her mini-me proceeds to rip open another tampon.

“You have some more cat toys? Let’s not play with too many of those,” she said.

“I’m just using one more,” Ohanian explained, pleading her case on why she needed to find the right one.

Wiliams lost this match and playfully covered her face in defeat.

“Who am I to steal her joy? It’s a Cat Toy! Don’t @ me #OlympiasWorld,” she wrote in the video’s caption.

While Williams watched her tampon supply decrease, her comments thought the exchange was hilarious.

“At least it’s a cat toy. My son used them on a school project as clouds,” said TikTok user @eos_201, reminding the tennis champion that the moment could have been worse.

@Crystal Anne Hill makes us think maybe kids are just curious about their mom’s things.

“When my daughter was little, she was in my room being too quiet. I walked upstairs, and she had taken all my pads and stuck them to the wall,” she commented.

Tiktok user @ tj1672 reminded Williams to keep her game face on.

“Motherhood is not for the weak. Takes real strength not to reveal how much your cracking up inside,” they added.

Ohanian’s little personality has undeniably made her a social media favorite.

As reported by Blavity, the prodigy recently showed off her inherited backhand serve skills.

But if Serena ever comes up empty on “cat toys” she can call up her friends at Playtex, whom she had a 2009 endorsement with. Although the 23-time Grand Slam champion isn’t hitting the court anymore, we’re pretty sure they will give her a refill.
