The princess is now officially a podcaster.

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, launched her eagerly anticipated podcast, “Archetypes,” on Tuesday.

The premiere episode of the Spotify series featured a conversation between the runaway royal and her close friend, tennis superstar Serena Williams.

With a brief appearance by Prince Harry in the first few moments of the podcast, the two talked about ambition, and the stereotypes and double standard women face in the public eye, which is the primary focus of “Archetypes.”

Markle opened the show giving context to her past as an outspoken 11-year-old who challenged Procter & Gamble to change an advertisement for its Ivory dish soap, which she thought was sexist. An archival element of the youngster being interviewed on Nick TV about the outcome of her activism in the podcast is also heard on the series.

During the hour-long podcast, the host recounted how she and Williams became “fast friends” after meeting at the 2014 Super Bowl. The 23-time Grand Slam champion attended Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry in 2018 at Windsor Castle.

“We have a lot in common,” Williams said of their friendship.

“So much,” said Meghan. “... you experience behind closed doors the pain that I’m going through and vice versa.”

The women also shared a candid story about growing up in Los Angeles and how media outlets incorrectly reported “that Harry’s girl was straight outta Compton,” where Williams was born and raised.

“I’m not from Compton, I’ve never lived in Compton, my mother never lived in Compton but by the way, what’s wrong with Compton? My girl Serena is from Compton,” Markle said before learning from Williams that Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Costner hails from that area.

“Kevin Costner is from Compton,” the 40-year-old sports icon assured her. “Yes, he is. Google it. He even talks about it. Isn’t it fascinating.”

Williams’ recently announced “evolution” from professional tennis was also touched upon with a follow-up interview, where the two revealed that Harry helped counsel Williams as she considered her next career move.

“He was trying to knock some sense into me and I’m just like, ‘Uh,’” Williams mused.

The royal couple made the choice to step down from their roles as senior working royals in 2020, and now live in Montecito, Calif., with their young children Archie and Lilibet.

The 2021 Emmy Meli song “I Am Woman” — that went viral on TikTok —is used as the them for the podcast.

The next episode of “Archetypes’' will feature a conversation with Mariah Carey and is set to be released next week.
