Serious injuries reported at New Jersey Turnpike crash near Parkway in Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE - New Jersey State Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash with serious injuries Thursday on the New Jersey Turnpike in the area of Interchange 11 for the Garden State Parkway.

The crash was reported around 12:41 p.m. Thursday, state police said.

Information about the number of vehicles and people involved in the crash was not immediately available.

As of 1:11 p.m. 511nj.org reported a crash with injuries on the New Jersey Turnpike ramp to southbound Garden State Parkway from Interchange 11 in Woodbridge with the left lane blocked to the Garden State Parkway south.

About 40 minutes later 511nj.org reported emergency maintenance on the New Jersey Turnpike inside Interchange 11 by the Garden State Parkway in Woodbridge with the two left lanes closed to traffic until further notice.

State police said the crash is being actively investigated and no additional details are available at this time.
