Synopsis: Mark 9:38-41. Jesus teaches that there is no neutral ground when it comes to His Kingdom. You are either for or against the Lord Jesus. Those who are for Jesus should receive others in love, serve in Jesus’ power, and expect a great reward in the future. I would be “for Jesus” if I was you!

Synopsis: (a.m.) Ephesians 5:21-33. The Church, the body of Christ, the bride of Christ, the church of God ... there are many descriptions of the church in scripture that give us insight as to the importance of what we most often call “the Church.” Many of us have heard someone say, “I want to know Jesus, but I avoid the Church.” This coming Sunday we want to look at the Church in scripture and strive to understand its importance in God’s plan. (p.m.) 1 John 1:8-2:6.

Petitions are presently being circulated and signed to attempt to make Abilene a Sanctuary City for the Unborn. Our church is one of many who are participating in this. Citizens of Abilene can make a statement to seek to protect the unborn. Please join us in this battle to protect the unborn.
