Topic: (a.m.) "The Christian and His Body" (p.m.) "Your Father Knows You Need These Things"

Synopsis: (a.m.) Many are concerned today about what they suppose is a "woman's right to make choices" concerning her body. Jesus said we are not to be anxious over the physical needs of our bodies (Matthew 6:25). Even so, we are to be concerned about our bodies (Romans 6:11-12; Ephesians 5:28-29). Let us look at some instructions God gives concerning our bodies. (p.m.) In Matthew 6:7-8, Jesus taught people not to use "vain repetitions" in their prayers. Jesus shows that our Father is concerned about us and knows the things that we need before we ask. In light of this, should we pray? Should we plan for our daily food? Let us see what the Scriptures teach.

As Christians, we are in a struggle to keep our attention squarely centered on Jesus — because He deserves all the glory — because Jesus is Lord of all ... greater than Moses, greater than the law, greater than those lesser things that steal His glory.
