Serpico Pizza Making Modifications, Opening Soon

PERRY HALL, MD — A pizza place in the Perry Hall Marketplace has been temporarily closed. But not to worry — it's reopening in the near future.

"We want everyone to know that we are not going anywhere," Serpico Pizza & Pasta assured Facebook fans this week. "It has taken us a lot longer than we expected, but we are still making some modifications inside the store and to the menu before our doors reopen."

The Italian restaurant closed Aug. 12 for the family's vacation.

When it reopens, it will have a refreshed interior with cosmetic changes and menu updates.

"Keep the taco pizza!" one diner posted on the restaurant's page.

"Perry Hall is hungry!" another added. "Let us test your menu!"

The restaurant has not set a definite reopening date but said Thursday that modifications were in progress, asking: "Please bear with us as we make these changes. We still aren’t 100% sure about a re-opening date, but we will keep you posted."
