At the Distillery location across from Eastview Mall in Victor, a robot nicknamed Lily is delivering orders to tables. Yeah, you read that right. The kitchen staff loads up Lily with plates of food and punches table numbers onto a touch screen that also serves as Lily’s face. A GPS guides Lily to tables, and if something or someone gets in the way, she'll stop, make a face and politely say, “Please let me pass.” She also can tell guests about specials and sing “Happy Birthday.”

#SUNYBrockportAssault

A man is facing felony charges after allegedly holding a SUNY Brockport student against her will in her dorm room Tuesday morning. Jaylyn Foster, who is not a Brockport student, also is accused of menacing the student with a gun, strangling her and covering her face with a pillow. Campus police were summoned to the dorm after another resident heard noise coming from the student’s room. Police say the student invited Foster in. She was evaluated by EMTs at the scene and not taken to a hospital.
