Sesame Place San Diego offers free one-day tickets to first responders

CHULA VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — First responders have the opportunity to receive free one-day admission tickets at Sesame Place San Diego.

The offer is valid starting Friday, Feb. 16 through Monday, Feb. 19 for First Responders Weekend, Sesame Place San Diego said on its website.

First responders include police officers, firefighters and emergency medical technicians, according to the theme park. Any first responder with a valid active work ID can participate.

Here’s how first responders may obtain their free tickets:

  • Register online in advance

  • Verify proof of service through the GovX qualification process

  • Tickets must be redeemed by Feb. 19

First responders who want to bring friends and family members have access to buying up to six tickets for $35.99 each (60% off) as part of the deal.

Super Grover’s Everyday Heroes Weekend will also take place at the theme park for guests to enjoy hero-themed dance parties, meet and greets and an array of activities with Sesame Street friends.
