The Dead South

7 p.m., doors; 8 p.m., show; Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. With Nate Hilts’ gritty vocals and aggressive guitar strumming, Scott Pringle’s soaring harmonies and mandolin chops, Colton Crawford’s blazing banjo licks and steady kick drum, and Danny Kenyon’s prominent cello melodies, The Dead South blends elements of folk, bluegrass, classical, and rock which results in a unique, modern, and authentic blend of boot-stompin’ acoustic music. Chamber Music Recital

Noon Wednesday, Feb. 2. Old Christ Church, 405 S. Adams St. The University of West Florida’s Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present an afternoon of chamber music. For their first program, titled “Happy Valentine”, the UWF Chamber Music Class dives into the spring semester with a musical celebration of love and happiness. Nate Bargatze - The Raincheck Tour

‘The Lieutenant of Inishmore’

7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4 through 13. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. Mad Padraic cares about one thing, and one alone - his cat. When Padraic learns that his beloved cat, Wee Thomas, has been killed, he rushes home. As he plows through the town in pursuit of revenge, bodies pile up in his wake. As fierce as he may be, however, Padriac’s soft spot for Wee Thomas may be the weak spot the next aspiring Lieutenant of Inishmore needs to target. Black Jacket Symphony Presents The Beatles "White Album"

8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. The Black Jacket Symphony will recreate the iconic White Album from The Beatles live in its entirety. Note for note, sound for sound. Over the past 10 years, the Black Jacket Symphony has performed over 40 classic rock albums. The group of hand-picked musicians changes based upon the album being performed — and no sonic detail is overlooked, with the musicians doing whatever it takes to reproduce the album. SATURDAY

Pensacola Double Bridge Run

7 a.m. (15K, Maritime Park, 301 W. Main St.) and 8:30 a.m. (5K, 10 Daniel St., Gulf Breeze) Saturday, Feb. 5. One of the premier 15K races in the country, the course carries runners over two bridges, across Pensacola Bay and Santa Rosa Sound. It will run from downtown Pensacola with a tour that includes the historic district, and picturesque Bayfront Parkway, a run through Gulf Breeze, and onto Pensacola Beach. The 5K invites both runners and walkers to travel from Gulf Breeze to beautiful Pensacola Beach on Santa Rosa Island and the Gulf Islands Seashore. More info: pensacolasports.org.

Mardi Gras Masquerade Party

5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5. Coastal County Brewing Company, 3041 E. Olive Road. Celebrate the 2022 Mardi Gras season with a masquerade party featuring local live music provided by the Sleep Shamers, dancing, pretty epic beer releases, and the local Mardi Gras krewes out in full force. Krewe of Hip Huggers Ball
