MONDAY

Pensacola Winterfest

Various times through Friday, Dec. 24. Based at the plazas around the Old County Courthouse at the corner of Palafox and Government streets in downtown Pensacola. Downtown comes alive with song and dance, arts and crafts during the holidays with Winterfest. Monday Night Blues

7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District. Tuesday Night Jazz

Palafox St. The fifth album from Oklahoma-bred singer/songwriter Parker Millsap, “Be Here Instead,” emerged from instinct and joyfully determined rule-breaking. In a departure from the guitar-and-notebook-based approach to songwriting that shaped his earlier work, the Nashville-based artist followed his curiosity to countless other modes of expression. $18. Tacky Tinseltown Holiday Party

6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. Celebrate the holidays with a fun and casual, tacky-sweater-themed party at the Flora-Bama Yacht Club. Those who come wearing their tackiest attire might even win a prize. The 1940's Radio Hour

7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10 through 19. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. Join the Little Theatre for a live radio broadcast on Dec. 21, 1942. The spirit of that bygone era when the world was at war and pop music meant "Strike Up the Band" and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" is captured as the harassed producer copes with a drunk lead singer, the delivery boy who wants a chance in front of the mic, the second banana who dreams of singing a ballad, and the trumpet-playing sound effects man who chooses a fighter plane over Glenn Miller. Palafox St. Christmas on the Coast is a dazzling holiday spectacular where the singers of the Pensacola Children's Chorus will transform sunny weather into a winter wonderland. Join almost 200 performers while experiencing all the sights and sounds of the holidays. In anticipation of PCC’s Carnegie Hall debut in June 2022, the performance opens with a one-of-a-kind New York-themed Christmas scene. It is complete with bustling street scenes, twinkling lights, frantic shoppers, children playing in the snow, and a Rockettes-style kick line. Tickets start at $15. Christmas at Holland Farms

Seamore’s Winter Wonderland Party

Deck the Halls featuring the Pensacola Opera

10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturdays through Dec. 18. Jackson’s Steakhouse, 400 S. Palafox St. In celebration of the holidays and back by popular demand, Jackson’s once again has teamed up with the Pensacola Opera to present a lunch filled with holiday cheer featuring costumed carolers strolling from table to table singing all of the traditional carols. Flora-Bama’s annual Santa Drop

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. There’s no need to pay $20 to take a picture with Santa at the mall when you can see him skydive onto white sandy beaches then jump in line in the tent for Santa pictures. Cox Pensacola Christmas Parade

5:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11. Downtown Pensacola. The Pensacola Christmas Parade draws more than 50,000 people each year, including almost 100 entries, and eight bands from Escambia County, Santa Rosa County, and New Orleans. The parade also features the nationally renowned Blue Angels flight team and a host of organizations from around the region. Preceding the parade is the 1.2-mile Christmas Parade Dash, sponsored by the Pensacola Runners Association. More info: coxpensacolachristmasparade.org.

SUNDAY

Christmas Village Festival

10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 12. St. Michaels Brewing Company, 2199 Highway 87 S., Navarre. Des’s Tacos food truck on hand from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. After 2 p.m., St. Michaels will host a food tent with soup/chili, loaded baked potatoes, hot chocolate, and gluhwein. Shop for last-minute gifts at the Christmas Village booths, pictures with Santa, kids Christmas crafts activities, and live music. More info: facebook.com/StMichaelsBrewing.

Carols on the Coast

11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 19. Angelena's Ristorante Italiano, 101 E. Intendencia St. Angelena’s has teamed up with the Pensacola Children Chorus to present a brunch filled with holiday cheer featuring costumed carolers strolling from table to table serenading patrons with the best sounds of the season. The carolers also will be taking special requests to perform during each event. More info: angelenaspensacola.com.

Holiday Sing-Along

5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12. The Rex Theatre, 18 N. Palafox St. The Choral Society of Pensacola presents its Holiday Sing-Along, a family-friendly event featuring music, refreshments, and a visit from Santa. The Society’s Women’s Ensemble, directed by Isabelle Peterson, will lead everyone in carols and songs with the lyrics projected on the theater’s big screen. In addition, participants can enjoy holiday treats and the opportunity to snap selfies with Santa. Come in your ugliest holiday sweater.
