Seventeen players named to Greater Grand Forks all-city girls and boys basketball teams
Jun. 16—GRAND FORKS — Seventeen players from the four Greater Grand Forks high schools have been named to the 2021-22 All-City boys and girls basketball teams.
The team is selected by the Grand Forks Fast Break Club.
There are nine players on the all-city boys team, eight on the all-city girls team.
The following are all-city basketball players:
* Paine Parks, Red River, All EDC, second team all-state, 17.9 ppg, 7 rpg.
* Reis Roekamp, Red River, All EDC, 15.0 ppg, 5 rpg.
* Zac Kraft, Red River, All EDC, 14.0 ppg.
* Sam Strandell, Central, EDC honorable mention, GFC hardest worker, 10.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg.
* Erick Paye, Central, All EDC, team MVP, 15.5 ppg, 9.6 rpg
* Kobe Tomkinson, Sacred Heart, Minnesota state all-tournament team, all conference, conference player of the year, 20.0 ppg, 5 rpg.
* Sam Gapp, Sacred Heart, all conference, 14.5 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 3.3 assists per game.
* Ethan Arntson, Sacred Heart, team most improved award, 11.8 ppg, 3 rpg.
* Tanner Campos, East Grand Forks Senior High, all conference, conference defensive player of the year, team MVP, 1,299 career points.
* Jocelyn Schiller, Red River, All EDC, All State tournament team, All State team, 21.4 ppg, 5.5 steals per game, 4.2 rpg.
* Rylie McQuillan, Red River, All EDC, 10.3 ppg, 3.4 steals per game, 3.2 assists per game.
* Hannah Litzinger, Red River, Team Award (Triple D, dedication, determination, desire), 6.6 ppg, 6.8 rpg
* Ashley Gereau, Central, GFC Knight Award, Team Hustle Award, 7.8 ppg, 5.9 rpg.
