Several Aiken County precincts consolidating for June 28 runoffs

Jun. 26—Several groups of Aiken County voters will be casting ballots in new places for the June 28 primary runoffs.

Aiken County election director Cynthia Holland provided a list of the precincts that were consolidating for the runoffs between Republican superintendent of education candidates Kathy Maness and Ellen Weaver and Democratic U.S. Senate candidates Catherine Bruce and S.C. Rep. Krystle Matthews.

Aiken

Aiken No. 2, 3 and 4 will vote at the Lessie B. Price Aiken Senior and Youth Center located at 841 Edgefield Ave.

The senior and youth center is normally the location of Aiken No. 4. Aiken No. 2 normally votes at Aiken High School. Aiken No. 3 normally votes at the Smith Hazel Recreation Center.

Anderson Pond and Sandstone 70 and 79 will vote at South Aiken High School located at 232 East Pine Log Rd.

The Sandstone precincts normally vote at South Aiken. Anderson Pond normally votes across the street at Millbrook Baptist Church.

North Augusta

In North Augusta, Fox Creek 58 and 73 will vote at the Grace Fellowship Church located at 507 West Five Notch Rd.

Fox Creek 73 normally votes at the church. Fox Creek 58 normally votes at the North Augusta Public Safety Building.

Also, North Augusta 26, 55, and 80 will vote at Fairview Presbyterian Church located at 1101 Carolina Ave.

North Augusta 26 and 80 normally vote at the church. North Augusta 55 normally votes at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Between Aiken and North Augusta

Bath 007, Langley 18 and Lynwood 19 will vote at the Burnettown municipal building.

The municipal building is the home of Lynwood 19. Normally, Bath votes at Langley Bath Clearwater Middle School, and Langley votes at Langley Community Center.

Also, Midland Valley 51 and 71 will vote at Aiken Technical College.

Midland Valley 71 normally votes there. Midland Valley 51 normally votes across the Jefferson Davis Highway at the Aiken Career Center.

New Ellenton

New Ellenton and Talatha will vote at the New Ellenton Community Center located at 212 Pine Hill Ave in New Ellenton.

Residents in New Ellenton normally vote at the community center. Residents in Talatha normally vote at New Ellenton Middle School.
