Several Boats Sink During 'Trump Boat Parade' in Texas
Several boats sank and others were in distress as hundreds of people took to the water in a pro-Trump boat parade on Lake Travis, outside Austin, Texas, on September 5, the Travis County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
The parade’s Facebook event page encouraged boats of “all shapes and sizes” to participate and don “patriotic colors and fly as many Trump flags” as the boat can handle.
Footage of the parade shows hundreds of boats spread out across the lake. Local news reported that 2,400 people were expected to attend.
