Several colleges in Alabama, nearby states participating in Spring free application week

ALABAMA (WHNT) — The Alabama Department of Education says colleges and universities both in and outside of the state are participating in the Spring 2024 Application Campaign next week.

Several institutions will waive application fees for Alabama students from Feb. 19 to Feb. 23, 2024. The free application week is an extension of the previous free application campaign from October.

“During our college application campaign held in October, we had over 25,000 seniors across the state apply to colleges and universities. Due to the success of this campaign, colleges, and universities have agreed to host another event for students” Alabama College
Application Campaign (ALCAC) Coordinator, Dr. Monica P. Mack said. “Students that did not apply to a college or university during the initial campaign are encouraged to participate in this event.”

The following colleges and universities are participating in the event:
