Six dead and several injured after shooting in south-west Germany
Six people have been killed and several injured in a shooting in Germany, according to reports.
Police confirmed that several people had been injured and some killed in the shooting in Rot am See in south-west Germany, just after midday, but have not confirmed the number of fatalities.
The AFP news agency reported that six people had died and two were injured.
Aalen Police said that a suspect had been arrested after the shooting and there was no suggestion anyone else was involved.
According to some reports, officials described the incident as being connected to a "personal relationship".

“According to my information, there were six dead and several injured,” police spokesman Rudolf Biehlmaier told German broadcaster n-tv.
“We are working on the assumption that this was a single attacker,” he said.
Mr Biehlmaier said the initial information suggested the suspect, a German citizen, and one or more of the victims knew each other.
He said some of the victims were from the same family.
Rot am See is about 170km (105 miles) north west of Munich.
Mass shootings are relatively rare in Germany.
The country was left in shock last year after a heavily armed assailant tried to force his way into a synagogue in Halle then shot two people to death nearby in an attack that was livestreamed on a popular gaming site.
