Several more Florida student-athletes announce NIL deals

The steady downpour of student-athletes inking name, image and likeness deals hasn’t slowed down. It continued Thursday night and into Friday. Fourteen Florida Gators student-athletes signed a NIL deal or were at least offered a contract from a company.

Most of these new agreements involve T-shirts the athlete made, partnerships with food companies, Yoke, a gaming app that allows fans to game with current athletes, and Dreamfield, a platform for players to offer their time with diehard fans.

Some of the fees that other players have listed on Dreamfield are absurd. Ole Miss quarterback and former Florida commit Matt Corral charges $10,000 an hour for fans to spend time with him. FSU and Miami quarterback McKenzie Milton and D’Eriq King ask for $2,000 an hour that is much more reasonable.

Let’s dive into some more NIL deals that Florida student-athletes signed.

These Florida student-athletes wasted no time inking NIL deals

Anthony Richardson jumped on board with Dreamfield as Corral, Milton and King did. He charges $500 an hour to spend time with him. He's one of four other Florida players to team up with this company.

Donovan McMillon announced Thursday that he retained Darren Heitner, a law expert who has studied the various NIL quirks. McMillon has his own YouTube channel that he can capitalize on. He has 1,160 subscribers currently. https://twitter.com/donovanmcmillo3/status/1410454210123010054?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1410454210123010054%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2F247sports.com%2Fcollege%2Fflorida%2FLongFormArticle%2FFlorida-Gators-Football-players-begin-capitalizing-on-new-NIL-rules-selling-merchandise-inking-endorsement-deals-167316796%2F

Rashad Torrence announced Thursday that he teamed up with Yoke, a gaming company that allows fans to game with their favorite players. Yoke has already signed 4,000 athletes. It'll be interesting to see how many athletes set up a Twitch where people can watch them play video games. He also organized a Jenloop account that allows fans to request custom Instagram shoutouts from him via posts or stories. An Instagram post cost is $60 while one on his story is $20.

Antonio Shelton transferred to Florida from Penn State this offseason. He signed up for Dreamfield along with Richardson. His rate is $100 an hour.

Defensive tackle Desmond Watson

He became the first official athlete endorsement for Spencer's Jerkin' Jerky. They released an apparels sale featuring Watson. Not sure how Florida strength and conditioning coach Nick Savage will feel about it though.

Wide receiver Jordan Pouncey

Pouncey is another transfer that came to Florida last summer from Texas. He also hopped on the Dreamfield bandwagon. He asks for $50 an hour for his time. He signed with Barstool as well. https://twitter.com/_pouncey/status/1410705441395466240

Leah Clapper and her sister Lily started their own food blog on Instagram May 6, 2018. In the past she has had offers from food brands that wanted to promote her, but she couldn't do it until Thursday. Now she can profit off her blog Zest and Finesse. [listicle id=46186]
