Several People Injured by Fire Near South London Rail Station

One person was hospitalized and six others were treated at the scene of a fire near the Elephant and Castle rail station in London on Monday, June 28, according to the London Fire Brigade.

Three commercial units, six cars, and a telephone box were alight after the fire broke out under railway arches near the station.

The blaze was under control as of 3:52 pm on Monday afternoon, but road closures were still in effect, according to the London Fire Brigade, which remained on the scene to dampen the fire.
