Several Preston students place in state Science and Engineering Fair

Feb. 13—The West Virginia Science and Engineering Fair was held Saturday at Fairmont State University's Falcon Center Gym.

First place projects /winners will advance to the West Virginia State Science and Engineering Fair (WVSEF) March 4 at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.

According to the website, the fair acts as an entry point for West Virginia high school students to qualify for the Regeneron International Science and Engineer Fair. Middle school students can qualify for the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge and the Lemelson Early Inventor Prize.
