Several Roof Collapses Reported as Storm Dumps Nine Inches of Snow on Fargo Area

Heavy snowfall caused roofs to collapse at several buildings and left homes blocked by snow in Fargo, North Dakota, on March 10, according to local news reports.

A church and three businesses reported roof collapses after a storm dumped nine inches of snow in the area, the Grand Forks Herald said.

Fifteen people were reported to have been in one building when the roof came in. However, there were said to be no injuries during the incident.

Abby Nokelby was none too happy with such a heavy fall this late in the season. She posted this video on Instagram showing high piles of snow after she had cleared her drive and parts of the sidewalk by her house. “The snow is so high you can hardly see our window,” she says.
