Furthermore, several enemy reconnaissance and sabotage groups (RSG) in the region were neutralized, the message read.

According to the message, Russian forces are attempting to use artillery fire and close air support to support advances towards the towns of Bakhmut and Avdiyivka in Donetsk Oblast.

In addition, Russian artillery and war planes have been attacking Kramatorsk and Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast, along with 15 other settlements.

Some enemy units attempted to carry out reconnaissance in force near Bakhmut, Vesele, Yakovlivka, and Dariyivka, but had to retreat under heavy Ukrainian fire.

A combination of Russian artillery and air strikes hit Avdiyivka and nearby towns. Minor enemy advances near Avdiyivka were reversed.

Ukrainian forces eliminated several enemy RSGs near Novalis’s and Zaporizhzhya, while at least 13 nearby settlements were shelled.
