Several new stores coming to Northshore Mall as part of redevelopment project

Several new stores are coming to The Northshore Mall Promenade.

In a post on social media, the mall posted several pictures with models of what the mall will look like once stores are added. These additions are part of phase 2 of The Northshore Mall redevelopment project.

“🤭 🤗 The secret is out: More places to play, shop and dine are coming to Northshore Mall,” the mall said on Instagram.

The new lineup includes Arahaus, a furniture store selling unique, handcrafted furniture and décor for any home, L.L Bean and a Sweetgreen.

L.L Bean is set to open 15,000 sq. ft. location in Fall 2023.

Sweetgreen is expected to open sometime in 2023.

The Northshore Mall redevelopment began on the Route 114 -facing side of the shopping center in 2017, resulting in a newly renovated Dining Pavilion and the creation of ‘The Promenade’ which includes outdoor seating, patio dining for seven restaurants that opened or remodeled with the Promenade.

“When we began the redevelopment, we focused on maintaining and building upon our strong mix of traditional stores carrying items for a wide range of shoppers, while also expanding our mix of services, dining, entertainment and recreational activities,” says Mark Whiting, Simon Property Group General Manager at Northshore Mall. “Simon continues to reinvest in its properties, providing new and exciting shopping, dining and entertainment options to match our shoppers’ evolving wants and needs.

The mall is set to continue opening new stores as the year goes on.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
