Several traffic lights in Midtown have been out for hours

Channel 2 Actions News received calls about an apparent power outage in the Midtown Atlanta area.

Several traffic lights have been down on Peachtree Road and surrounding streets for hours.

One viewer called and said he had been without power for five hours.

According to the Georgia Power Outage Map, there have been several outages and approximately 1,245 people were affected in the metro area.
