Severe thunderstorm warning issued for parts of New Hampshire

New Hampshire — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of New Hampshire Saturday night.

The warning was issued for the Rockingham, Strafford, Merrimack and Hillsborough Counties. The warning is in effect until 9:30 p.m.

“Heavy rain, lightning, damaging wind & small hail are the threats with this storm,” says Boston 25 Meteorologist Vicki Graf.

“A strong thunderstorm will cross the Manchester metro area in the next 30 minutes. Pea size hail and gusty winds, along with frequent cloud to ground lightning have been reported with this thunderstorm. Take shelter now! We welcome any reports!” wrote NWS Gray on Twitter shortly before 9 p.m.
