Severe thunderstorm warning issued for parts of southern Massachusetts
We’re on a SEVERE WEATHER ALERT from the Boston 25 Weather Team due to a severe thunderstorm warning in our area.
This alert is in effect for Bristol and Norfolk Counties until 4:15 p.m.
The main concerns will be damaging wind and hail alongside heavy rain and lightning, according to the National Weather Service.
Affected communities include Taunton, Cumberland, Franklin, North Attleborough, Norwood, Stoughton, Attleboro, Walpole, Mansfield, Easton, Canton, Norton, Sharon, Foxborough, Norfolk, Wrentham, and Plainville.

Providence County in Rhode Island is also under a severe thunderstorm warning until 4:15 p.m.
