TALLAHASSEE — Bay County is under a tornado watch until 6 p.m. today, according to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee.

Wright Dobbs, a meteorologist with the NWS, said storm conditions throughout the county remain favorable for the development of tornadoes. If a tornado is spotted or indicated by radar, Dobbs said the NWS would immediately issue a tornado warning.
