Severe weather hits northern Big Country with hail & gusty wind

BIG COUNTRY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A round of severe weather is making its way across the northern part of the Big Country this afternoon, with some areas already seeing marble-sized hail.

TAKE COVER: Tornado spotted in southwestern Haskell County

According to Meteorologist Pete Beretta, these storms are fast moving to the northeast, limiting the chance of flooding. He added that residents can expect to see hail and gusty winds.

Haskell County was placed under an Extreme Tornado Warning until 6:15 p.m. with hail up 1.75 inches.
