TRAVIS HERZOG: The threat of severe thunderstorms might be over. But there is a chance of additional rain showers overnight. I'm chief meteorologist Travis Herzog with your 1-Minute Weather Forecast. We're going to be watching this front rolling into Houston around 3, 4 o'clock in the morning, but the air will be too stable for any serious thunderstorms. So at this time, we just expect a few rain showers to roll on through.

And then a huge drop in the humidity on the way. So we'll start off with a lot of clouds around sunrise, but quickly clearing out the humidity tanks on that north breeze, which will range between 10 and 20 miles per hour. And this is going to set the stage for some really lovely weather for the rest of the week.

And we hit a high of 83 on Saturday. Sunday morning-- crisp. Down to 52 degrees. Great for anything you have planned outside. Little warmer in the afternoon, but again, it comes with low humidity.

And then we're looking at a return of that moisture as we get into Monday and Tuesday, the low temperatures coming back up into the 60s, the highs in the mid-80s. Small chances of rain as some upper-level disturbances roll through, and then a cool front comes in on Wednesday to drop those highs and lows a few degrees ahead of the following weekend. I hope you enjoy the weekend ahead, and we'll keep watching the weather for you.
