Sewer installation to close portion of Vine Street Northeast on Monday

Feb. 23—Starting Monday, a Decatur Utilities crew will be installing a new sanitary sewer main near the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Vine Street Northeast.

Vine Street will also be closed between Sixth Avenue and Well Street Northeast, with designated detour routing displayed for motorists.

This work is scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m. with plans to be complete by the end of the day Tuesday.
