Sex Education star's Christmas movie sequel confirms release date

Sex Education star Asa Butterfield's new Christmas movie has confirmed a UK release date.
The actor, who appeared in festive film Your Christmas or Mine? last December, is returning to screens in the follow-up Your Christmas or Mine? 2, which will be released on Prime Video on December 8.
Butterfield is back with on-screen girlfriend Prey for the Devil actress Cora Kirk for another outing with the couple's dysfunctional family members.

This time the action takes place in a ski resort in the Austrain Alps with James (Butterfield) and Hayley (Kirk) travelling alongside Hayley's family to meet James' father and his new girlfriend.
The Crown's Alex Jennings will reprise his role as James' father, with American actor Jane Krakowski of 30 Rock fame joining the cast as his new romantic interest.
Meanwhile, Line of Duty actor Daniel Mays, plus former Coronation Street stars Angela Griffin and Natalie Gumede are back as Hayley's respective mum, dad and auntie.

Game of Thrones villain and Harry Potter star David Bradley will also return for the Christmas sequel as James' father's groundskeeper Jack.
"James’ father has invited the Taylors to spend Christmas in a luxury ski resort in the Austrian Alps, so they can meet his new American girlfriend. However, Hayley’s dad Geoff insisted on handling his family’s side of the booking and something clearly got lost in translation," reads an official synopsis for the film.
"After a mix-up with transport at the airport, the two tribes end up at each other’s accommodations, on different sides of a valley and opposite ends of the Tripadvisor ratings scale.
"Can Hayley and James' relationship survive another turbulent family Christmas, or has their future together gone off-piste?"
Audiences most recently saw Butterfield on screens in the Sex Education season 4. He reprised his role as young sex therapist Otis Milburn in the final season of the hit Netflix series, which dropped on the streaming platform on September 21.
Your Christmas or Mine? 2 premieres on Prime Video on December 8.
