Sex/Life star Sarah Shahi to lead new TV show from Charmed boss

Sex/Life star Sarah Shahi has landed herself a new leading role, fronting and producing a legal drama called Judgement.
As reported by Deadline, Judgement comes from former Charmed showrunner Joey Falco and casts Shahi as a woman named Mia Bahari, who she will play in two different eras.
The format of the show features her in the year 2038 looking back at her time in the present day as she is interviewed for a place on the Supreme Court.
The drama will come from all the secrets that have built up in her career and "messy" love life over the years, which could jeopardise not only her chances at getting into the Supreme Court, but also her marriage. While the older Mia is known as a brilliant Appeals Court judge, her younger self is a mix of fiery and painfully awkward, and gets involved romantically with two brothers who are connected to some pretty dodgy stuff.
At the moment, Judgement is just a pilot for ABC. If it gets greenlit for a full series, it will take priority over further seasons of Netflix's Sex/Life for Shahi, although it's not known whether Sex/Life will actually return for a third season or beyond just yet.
Creator Stacy Rukeyser recently spoke about Sex/Life's potential future following the recent release of season 2, stating: "It's definitely not intended to be a series finale. I believe there are always more stories to tell with these characters.
"We'd also be back to that prime question from season one, which is, can you have sex and life all at the same time, especially as a new mom."
Shahi herself also stated that she is keen to do more of the show, and believes that it will happen as long as people keep tuning in to watch.
Sex/Life is available to stream via Netflix.
