Sex offender arrested in Fountain for child exploitation

(FOUNTAIN, Colo.) — A registered sex offender in Fountain has been arrested again for possessing and distributing child sexual exploitation material.

According to the Fountain Police Department (FPD), around 8 a.m. on Feb. 1, 40-year-old Dustin Huntington was arrested by FPD officers as part of an Internet Child Exploitation investigation.

FPD said Huntington is a registered sex offender with FPD, and has a previous Sexual Exploitation conviction out of the 4th Judicial District for possessing more than 20 videos of child sexually exploitative material.

Huntington was booked into the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center (CJC) on charges of Felony Sexual Exploitation of Children-Distribution of Material and Felony Sexual Exploitation of Children-Video. He is currently being held at the CJC with no bond.
