SF Chronicle reporter: Insurers send private crews to protect homes, businesses from fires

Gregory Thomas with the San Francisco Chronicle joined KCRA 3 on Tuesday to talk about a new story he wrote about private sector groups being increasingly deployed around the edges of California wildfires to protect homes and businesses. One place where these private crews operated during the Caldor Fire was the Sierra-at-Tahoe resort.
