SFD: Vacant building on Schenectady Street damaged in early Friday fire

Jun. 10—SCHENECTADY — A vacant building on Schenectady Street was damaged in an early Friday fire, the Schenectady Fire Department said.

The call came in at about 12:30 a.m. to 536 Schenectady St.

Responding crews extinguished the blaze in about 25 minutes, officials said.

No firefighters or civilians were hurt, officials said.

The cause of the blaze remained under investigation later Friday, officials said.
