'What We Do in the Shadows' Puts Nandor Under Guillermo's Spell

Once again, Nandermo fans were fed on this week’s episode of What We Do in the Shadows.

Last week, I said that this was shaping up to be the gayest season of the show yet, and after this week, that’s even more true.

In the last episode, Nandor and Guillermo found a Djinn inside a lamp in Nandor’s treasure room and Nandor used one of his wishes to bring back his ex-wives. After eliminating those he wasn’t truly in love with, Nandor is left with one wife, but he’s still having a hard time finding the old rhythm.

After Nadja tells him maybe he needs some personal growth, he decides to wish for a bigger penis. But just when he’s about to make his wish, his bodyguard and former familiar Guillermo steps in to make sure the Djinn doesn’t pull one of his Djinn tricks and make Nandor’s wish backfire on him.

After Nandor and Guillermo go back and forth with the Djinn, making sure the penis won’t be “whale or other species,” won’t be “in a separate container such as a jar or briefcase,” won’t be on his chin, and a hundred other exceptions.

“Your familiar has a very shrewd and incisive mind when it comes to the penis stuff,” the Djinn tells Nandor. And then, the best part of the episode happens.

When Guillermo asks why Nandor didn’t thank him for all his help, Nandor exhaustedly says, “Alway so needy. Thank you, Guillermo. I appreciate all your help. And every time I use my new big dick I will think of you and all you’ve done for me.”

“This is your wish?” the Djinn asks.

“This is my wish,” Nandor says. And just like that, the wish is granted!

After Nandor tries to get Guillermo to take a peek at his new unit, he runs off to go have sex with his wife. But, unfortunately for him, and very fortunately for Nandermo shippers, things don’t go as he thought.

A short time later, Nandor has joined Guillermo and the others at Nadja’s new vampire nightclub, and when Guillermo asks how it went with his wife, Nandor drops the big news.

“The Djinn tricked me into saying that every time I use my new big dick I will think of you,” he tells Guillermo.

This is a beautiful and deliciously juicy development in the relationship between Guillermo and Nandor. It seems like one of the big things holding Nandor back from opening up the possibility of falling in love with Guillermo is that he sees him as his servant and as someone who can’t even be an option.

But now, he’s going to think of Guillermo and everything he’s done for him every time he uses his dick!!! The Djinn’s magic is forcing Nandor to think about how much he appreciates Guillermo, and it’s being tied into his erection. If that’s not a love spell, I don’t know what is.

Still, even with this development, last week, we learned that Guillermo has a secret British boyfriend, so the two of them aren’t in the clear to fall in love yet!

Just two weeks in and this season of What We Do in the Shadows is going full speed ahead on Guillermo and Nandor, making the season truly the gayest yet.
