Shane Dawson and Ryland Adams relationship timeline
We hate to admit it, but YouTube drama is kind of a big thing in our lives right now. We still think about ~that~ James Charles saga on the daily, are obsessed with Jeffree Star's makeup controversy, and have binge watched every Shane Dawson conspiracy theory series we could get our hands on.
And while Shane and Jeffree's palette collaboration is all the internet can think about right now, we're equally interested in Shane's relationship with Ryland Adams. The pair have been dating since March 2016, and got engaged in March 2019. And yeah, their relationship timeline is sweet af.
July 2015
Shane comes out as bisexual following his break up from YouTube star Lisa Schwartz. In a video, 'I'm Bisexual', he says, "Love who you want to love. Life is short. No one is going to hate you for it ... I'm this way for a f***ing reason. I can love multiple people for a reason, and I think that's why I am where I am today, because I'm just so full of love."

He writes, "As you guys know I've been pretty private about my personal life for the last couple years. But I also feel like I've been hiding such a huge part of my life recently and I don't want to do that anymore. So here it goes. This is Ryland. He's sweet, caring, and makes me so incredibly happy. He's also my boyfriend. He's been a really big part of my life and I'm so grateful that I met him.
