Shane Dawson's Ugly Side of the Beauty World documentary is coming sooner than we thought
Diet root beer fans listen up, Shane Dawson's latest YouTube documentary, 'Ugly Side of the Beauty World', is released this week and and it sounds like it will not disappoint.
Last August, Shane had us refreshing our subscription box on the daily when he released his five part 'Secret Life of Jeffree Star' series. Line of Duty who?
The series was Shane's first foray into the beauty world and with over 140 MILLION combined views. So it's no surprise that he's taken a break from making tiny food for his cat (it's a blow for both of us, Cheeto), to expose the behind the scenes drama of the YouTube beauty community.
We knew that Shane and Jeffree were working on a second series together and that as part of that, are teaming up for an eyeshadow palette (which, yes, I will be buying regardless of colour scheme). But back in July, Shane teased more details after a fan asked how long we have to wait for the documentary.
"Ugly Side of the Beauty World series in the fall and possibly something else in July. Some stuff happened that threw a wrench in the conspiracy series but I'll explain soon. But the series in the fall is A LOT... So trust me, you'll be sick of me by the end of the year haha"

With so much access to Jeffree I can't help but wonder if the "Stuff" that happened was James Charles and Tati Westbrook... You remember that absolute sh*t show? You know the one that took over our lives for the month of May?

Anyway, the latest news is that Ugly Side of the Beauty World is being released sooner than we thought. Like, this Tuesday, soon (that's 24 September so you don't have to check your calendar.)
On Friday night, Shane posted an Instagram Story confirming the release date, and I don't know about you but I have now politely cancelled all my plans on Tuesday so I can stay home and wait for it to drop.
