Boyzone's Shane Lynch splits from wife under pressure of lockdown
Boyzone’s Shane Lynch has revealed he has moved out of his family home as he and his wife were “at each other’s throats”.
The boyband star revealed he and former backing singer Sheena White have separated after 13 years of marriage after struggling under the pressures of lockdown.
Lynch, 43, told Paul Danan’s Morning After podcast: “We have had difficult times and are going through difficult times right now in this isolation thing.
“I’m not even in my family home right now because me and her were at each other’s throats. It wasn’t a good time or a good space.”

The couple, who married in 2007, have two daughters - Billie aged 11, and seven-year-old Marley.
Lynch admitted: “I’m usually on the road and for the first time I’ve spent three months in my house. All of a sudden I’m at home a lot. You find out things about relationships and it can be very difficult. It can be a struggle.”
The former boyband star had been touring as part of Boyz On The Block with Another Level’s Dane Bowers, Five’s Abz Love, and Phats & Smalls’s Ben Ofoedu.
Lynch said: “I’m praying every day me and my wife sort out our things and I get back to my kids.
“I pray the longer me and my wife are apart at this moment, during these difficult times, it builds a strongness so when we get back together life will continue to be amazing in the next 15, 20, 30 years.

“But I don’t know God’s plan. Just because I love her and I love my children, does that mean there’s something new for me in life? I don’t know. I have to wait my time.”
The UK is under government lockdown with people being asked to stay at home in order to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
Lynch is best known as a member of chart-topping boyband Boyzone, with Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham. They have now gone their separate ways after 26 years since their farewell tour ended at the London Palladium in October 2019.
Lynch was previously married to Eternal singer Easther Bennett between 1998 and 2000. He appeared on Celebrity Love Island in 2006 and Celebrity Big Brother in 2018.
